The COVID-19 pandemic is having a momentous societal impact in every sphere and at every level, in Europe and beyond. From the beginning, the EUI community mobilised to take part in key debates about the ongoing crisis through events, research activities and public engagement.

We continue our endeavour to bring innovative research, fresh data and new ideas, giving effective and resilient response to the present crisis and to its long-term implications.

Manifesto for EU COVID-19 Research

The EUI was among the first institutions to endorse the manifesto launched by the European Commission to maximise the accessibility of research results in the fight against COVID-19 and its consequences.
